Day 1
Arrive/pickup at Cochin

You will be picking from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and take to the hotel. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin – the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2

Early morning drive to Munnar via road. The duration will be 5-6 hours approx (Around 140Kms), in which you can do sight seeing, even stop local famous tea/coffee juncture to finally have a taste of what it’s like to be stepping in most beautiful part of God’s own country.

On reaching Munnar, you’ll check in the hotel and can spend rest of the evening and/or night checking out the neighbourhood while/or doing marketing.

Day 3

A full day tour will commence early in the morning at/around 8:00 AM. It’ll cover approximately 9 spots which includes:

The house of world famous “Tata Tea”, otherwise known as Tea Estates.

The beautiful Eravikulam National Park which is home to endangered mountain goat, Nilgiri Tahr and has Anamudi, the highest peak in the western ghats. Also, during flowering season it gives viewers an once in a lifetime experience when the entire landscape around it turns to bluish from green due to “neelakurinji flowers” which blossoms once in twelve years.

Munnar Top Station is another popular location amongst tourist. It’s the highest ground on the place situated on Tamil Nadu-Kerala borders. This place gives a grand view of a valley and experience of watching the clouds from the top. This place is also popular for trekking.

Mattupetty dam is another highlight of Munna which is home to lots of water activities outside of storing waters for hydroelectric power projects. One can either take part in water activities like pedal boats, motor boats etc or sit aside and relax amidst it beautiful landscape.

Kundala Lake is an artificial dam which is also the Asia’s first arc dam. It’s popular for world famous Kashmiri Shikara boat rides and cherry blossoms which blossoms twice in a year.

Tea Museum is a recent addition to Munnar tourisms and is located very near to the Munnar town. This place contains historic knowledge of bygone era’s where how tea’s were made. Tea addicts are bound to enjoy this place.

Lakkam Waterfall is a visual attraction of Munnar tourism with cascading waters that’s bound to catch visitors imaginations.

Blossom Hydel Park which is spread in over 16 acres of land is another popular place in Munnar known for lazy holidaying, cycling, skating, nature walks, artificial waterfall etc.

Echo point, the name itself gives away what it’s popular for. One can meet it on the way to Top station. This place is again popular for trekking, bonfires, nature walks etc.

Now, whether one manages to check out all these places in a day or not, one thing is guaranteed that nobody will leave Munnar dissatisfied.

Day 4

After breakfast check out from the hotel in Munnar and drive to Alleppey (172 KM away). The drive from Munnar to Alleppey would usually take around 4 hours and 50 minutes. Upon arrival in Munnar get out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 5

After breakfast check out from the House Boat / Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the “God’s Own Country”.
